What makes this beautiful photo truly interesting is the high contrast between the dark black background and the yellow flowers- and the fact that the blossoms are a wonderful, deep, character-filled shade of yellow most certainly helps keep it pleasant to look at. That said, I'm not so sure about the framing- while having the subject fill most of the frame is very effective when the subject is something that was very small to begin with, the fact that, on the far right, it's just barely out of the frame irks me slightly. Had it been further out of frame it would have looked more deliberate, or fully in the frame, but as is, it almost looks like it was just cut off unthinkingly. That's my one bit of heavy criticism for this otherwise gorgeous photo- keep up the great work, Webcruiser!
